Fillmore Middle School Description
Fillmore Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Fillmore, California. Founded in 1887, it has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves grades 6-8 and offers a variety of educational programs including core classes such as math, science, language arts and social studies; electives like art, music and physical education; and special programs like gifted/talented enrichment classes.
The campus consists of two buildings: an older building that houses classrooms for grades 6-7 and a newer building with classrooms for grade 8. Both buildings are equipped with modern technology such as interactive whiteboards, computers and projectors. In addition to its academic offerings, Fillmore Middle School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball), clubs (chess club) and after-school tutoring sessions.
At Fillmore Middle School we strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential academically while developing strong character traits through our positive behavior support system. We believe that every student should have access to high quality learning opportunities regardless of background or ability level so they can become successful members of society when they graduate from our school.
