Colton High School Description
Colton High School is a public high school located in Colton, California. Founded in 1891, it is the oldest high school in San Bernardino County and one of the oldest schools in Southern California. The school serves over 2,000 students from grades 9-12 and offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and extracurricular activities.
The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as an auditorium with seating for 1,500 people; two gymnasiums; multiple athletic fields; tennis courts; a swimming pool; computer labs; science laboratories; art studios; music rooms; library/media center with access to online resources and databases. In addition to academics and athletics, Colton High School also provides its students with many opportunities for personal growth through clubs like student government association (SGA), National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Key Club International (KCI), Science Olympiad Team (SOT) and more.
