Desert View High School Description
Desert View High School is a public high school located in Tucson, Arizona. It serves grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. The school offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career and technical education (CTE), special education services, and college preparatory classes.
The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as computer labs, science laboratories, art studios, music rooms and athletic fields. Desert View also provides extracurricular activities for its students including sports teams in football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field; clubs like the National Honor Society; student government; drama productions; band performances; choir concerts; robotics competitions; chess tournaments; yearbook staffs and more.
Desert View High School strives to create an environment that encourages learning while promoting respect for diversity among its students.
