Desert Star Description

Desert Star School is a K-8 public school located in Goodyear, Arizona. Founded in 2005, the school has grown to serve over 500 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The mission of Desert Star School is to provide an excellent education that prepares all students for success in college and career.

The curriculum at Desert Star School focuses on developing critical thinking skills through hands-on learning experiences. Students are encouraged to explore their interests and develop their talents through a variety of extracurricular activities such as art, music, drama, robotics, sports teams and more. In addition to core academic subjects like math, science and language arts, the school also offers enrichment classes such as Spanish language instruction and computer coding.

Desert Star School prides itself on its commitment to creating a safe learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. The faculty works hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention so they can succeed academically while also having fun with friends. Parents are actively involved in the school community by volunteering or attending events throughout the year.
