Hackett High School is a public school located in Hackett, Arkansas. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1892 and is the oldest high school in Sebastian County.
The mission of Hackett High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous instruction and meaningful experiences.
Hackett High School offers a wide variety of courses including English, math, science, social studies, foreign language, physical education/health sciences, fine arts/performing arts, technology education/career exploration classes as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses for college credit. In addition to academics the school also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics (football, basketball), clubs (National Honor Society), student government organizations (Student Council), music programs (band & choir) and other special interest groups like robotics or drama club.
