Cotaco School Description
Cotaco School is a public K-12 school located in Somerville, Alabama. Founded in 1891, Cotaco has been providing quality education to the students of Morgan County for over 125 years. The school offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities that are designed to meet the needs of all its students.
The student body at Cotaco consists of approximately 500 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The faculty is highly qualified and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. They strive to create an environment where every child can learn and grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
At Cotaco School, there are many opportunities for students to get involved outside the classroom as well. There are numerous clubs such as robotics, drama club, art club, chess club and more that allow students to explore their interests while developing important skills like teamwork and leadership. Additionally, Cotaco offers competitive sports teams including football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field which provide great physical activity options for our athletes.
