Opp High School is a public school located in the small town of Opp, Alabama. Founded in 1891, it has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school serves grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment opportunities with local colleges, and career technical education classes.
The campus consists of two buildings: an elementary building which houses grades K-8 and a high school building that holds grades 9-12. Both buildings are equipped with modern technology such as Smart Boards and computers for student use. In addition to classrooms, the high school also features a library/media center, cafeteria, gymnasiums, auditoriums, athletic fields and courts for physical activities.
Opp High School prides itself on its commitment to excellence in academics as well as extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball), band & chorus groups (marching band & jazz ensemble) and clubs (National Honor Society). The faculty at Opp High School strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential while having fun along the way!
