Jasper High School is a public high school located in Jasper, Alabama. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school was founded in 1891 and is part of the Walker County Schools system.
The mission of Jasper High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. Jasper High School offers a wide variety of courses including Advanced Placement classes as well as career technical education programs such as automotive technology, culinary arts, health sciences, welding technology and more. In addition to academics, the school also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics (football, basketball, baseball/softball), band & chorus performances, student clubs & organizations (National Honor Society) and community service opportunities for its students.
