Eclectic Middle School Description
Eclectic Middle School is a public school located in the small town of Eclectic, Alabama. Founded in 1887, it has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves grades 6-8 and currently enrolls around 500 students from the surrounding area.
The faculty at Eclectic Middle School are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential by offering a variety of educational opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. In addition to core classes such as math, science, English, social studies and foreign language, they also offer electives like art, music and physical education. They also have an active after-school program that includes clubs such as robotics and chess club as well as sports teams like basketball and soccer.
At Eclectic Middle School we strive to create a safe learning environment where all students can thrive academically while developing important life skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving. We believe that every student should be given the opportunity to succeed regardless of background or ability level so we provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Our goal is for our graduates to leave with not only knowledge but also confidence in themselves which will help them excel in high school and beyond!
