Cherokee Elementary School is a public school located in Cherokee, Alabama. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was established in 1965 and is part of the Colbert County Schools system.

The mission of Cherokee Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty and staff strive to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential as learners and citizens.

At Cherokee Elementary School, teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning, technology integration, differentiated instruction, cooperative learning activities, and hands-on experiences to engage students in meaningful ways. In addition to core subjects like math, science, language arts/reading/writing, social studies/history/geography are also taught at the school.
