This investment property is the opportunity people dream of! A historic barn with excellent property income that includes 7 residential apartments on 16.36 acres. The house and barn were built in late 1700's which could qualify them for historic preservation grants and tax credits. The house was completely renovated in 2013 with new plumbing, septic, electricity, well, individual furnaces' while paying attention to working with the integrity of the original structure. The original workshop was also gutted and renovated into two one bedroom apartments. The seven apartments range from 600 to 1200 sq ft and have their own electric and heating systems which opens the door to possibly create condo units with an association for all maintenance. The existing acres are commercially zoned, currently being used as agriculture land while renting some of the barn for storage. Having both Residential 2 and commercial zoning with this property offers many possibilities for the 8 acres of open land and barn. Provost Farms offers a country way of life that allows for privacy and community interaction. The tenants enjoy access through open fields to a brook or petting the sheep grazing on the hillside, and access to your own vegetable garden. Meandering through the extensive perennial flower gardens and sitting around the campfire are often the preferred way to end the evenings. A place to relax, chat and enjoy mother nature.
