Ryan grew up on a cotton farm just outside of Lyford, Texas (a small town about 10 miles North of Harlingen). He is an avid fisherman and hunter and loves the Rio Grande Valley and all it has to offer. Ryan graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 with a degree in Agricultural Leadership and started working at Rocking K Realty as an agent in 2000.He worked as an agent for the Krenek family (the previous owners) for 12 years and then he and his wife Lara, also a 1997 Aggie graduate, bought Rocking K Realty in June of 2012. Now Ryan and Lara run the business as a family providing the same great service and personal touch that Rocking K has been known for since it’s founding over 21 years ago.
