Tim Bare was born and raised in southern Douglas County where he graduated from South Umpqua High School. After attending Oregon State University, he returned home to join his parents and brother in forming K-Bar Ranches. Over the past four decades, Tim has devoted himself to developing K-Bar into a premier agricultural business with operations now extending beyond Douglas County.Tim and his wife of 40 years, Dorothy, currently reside in Roseburg. They raised two children and have recently welcomed two grandchildren to the family. Since recently retiring from production agriculture, Tim enjoys traveling, fishing, sports, and spending time with their black Labrador, Walter.Tim is dedicated to helping the local community continue to grow and develop. He has volunteered for many civic organizations, as well as being elected to many local boards. Some of the organizations of service include: Farm Credit Services Local Advisory Board (18 years), Douglas County Farmers Co-op Board of Directors (17 years), Farm Service Agency Committee (12 years), Myrtle Creek Rural Fire Department (8 years), and the South Umpqua School Board (4 years). He has also been selected on several occasions to speak nationally to other agricultural producers regarding issues related to marketing and animal health across the United States.Tim is a natural problem solver and critical thinker, with practical knowledge in the areas of finance, property development, and construction. His experience has equipped him to help clients successfully navigate all aspects of buying and selling real estate.
