At the time of its sale in 2009, the business included 12 permanent retail storefronts, nearly 300 small shops rented on a daily or weekly basis, a thriving pizza restaurant, the largest Shell Oil franchise on the Delmarva Peninsula, a sports bar and grill which ranked fifth in sales in the state of Delaware.After he and his family sold the Delaware complex, Bill was contacted by a property-investment group that wished to redevelop a large, long-vacant shopping mall in Ohio. Bill went to work for the investors and in less than a year successfully renovated and transformed the property, leasing 180,000 sq. feet of retail space to a mix of national and local tenants. Immediately thereafter, another investor group hired Bill to revitalize a nearly vacant mall elsewhere in Ohio. Here Bill's accomplishments included redesigning, renovating, and re-branding the property, recruiting tenants, negotiating contracts, and managing marketing and accounting. In roughly a year, Bill successfully rented 325,000 sq. feet of space.Today, Bill credits his success to many factors, including the support of his loving wife, Christy, and their two children, Jordan (age 16) and Elizabeth (age 14).
