The property was selectively timbered approx. 10 years ago, and some areas have excellent undergrowth and browse that have generated since the timbering. Deer sign was high on the property with rubs, scrapes, and trails everywhere. The neighboring properties contain some woods and swamp, but the further outlying areas provide crop fields providing excellent food source.
