About this 2 bedroom 1 bath house

Live independently. Live sustainably. Live surrounded by nature. Escape to 60 secluded acres in the heart of Old Florida, where modern comfort, extraordinary privacy, and true self-sufficiency come together. Hidden within the exclusive GATED Tiger Island Sportsman’s Club, this remarkable off-grid estate is surrounded by more than 7,200 acres of privately owned hunting and conservation land and borders the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge. Created for those who value freedom, resilience, and the outdoors, this turnkey retreat offers an increasingly rare opportunity to live entirely on your own terms. Whether envisioned as a peaceful retirement haven, self-sustaining homestead, recreational getaway, preparedness retreat, or legacy property for generations to come, this estate delivers a lifestyle few properties can match. At the heart of the property is “The Treehouse” a custom post-and-beam cabin completed in 2021. Offering approximately 1,000 square feet of finished living space, the home features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a loft, and a third bedroom and bathroom already dried-in and ready for completion. Soaring vaulted ceilings, exceptional craftsmanship, and 22 oversized triple-pane windows fill the interior with natural light while framing captivating views of the surrounding forest. A spacious 10-by-20 screened porch overlooks natural wildlife corridors and provides an idyllic setting for morning coffee, birdwatching, quiet evenings, and year-round outdoor living. Beneath the elevated home, approximately 1,200 square feet of covered space provides exceptional flexibility for equipment storage, a workshop, recreational vehicles, outdoor entertaining, or future expansion. Supporting the property’s many recreational, agricultural, and storage possibilities is an impressive 40-by-60-foot metal building/barn with 20-foot height and skirts. Three storage containers provide even greater versatility: one insulated 20-foot container, one 40-by-8-foot container, and one 40-by-9.5-foot container. Together, these structures provide storage for tools, equipment, ATVs, supplies, workshop activities, and long-term use. Engineered for long-term independence, the property is supported by an impressive off-grid infrastructure that includes a 10kW solar power system, lithium battery storage, a 12kW propane backup generator, two private wells, Starlink high-speed internet, energy-efficient construction, and a silicone-coated metal roof designed for exceptional longevity. The land is equally extraordinary, featuring one of the largest ponds in the community, creek frontage, established trails, wildlife food plots, mature forest, and cleared areas offering future possibilities. Explore the acreage by ATV, observe abundant native wildlife, hunt, hike, fish, or simply enjoy the profound peace that comes with owning a private piece of untouched Florida. Tiger Island Sportsman’s Club is known for its expansive acreage parcels, commitment to conserving Florida’s natural landscape, and nearly 25 miles of private roads. Despite its secluded setting, the property is located approximately 15 minutes from the coastal charm, restaurants, fishing, and recreation of Cedar Key. Here, the road ends and possibility begin. Experience the freedom to live more intentionally, tread more lightly, and reconnect with what matters most, without sacrificing the modern comforts that make this extraordinary retreat feel like home.
