Mercer Island is a city located in King County, Washington, United States. It is situated in the middle of Lake Washington, between Seattle and Bellevue. The island is connected to the mainland by two bridges: the I-90 floating bridge and the East Channel Bridge. Mercer Island is home to approximately 24,000 people and covers an area of 13.3 square miles.
The city has a rich history that dates back to 1854 when Thomas Mercer first settled on the island. Since then, it has grown into a vibrant community with a variety of amenities and attractions.
