Lakewood is a city located in Pierce County, Washington, United States. It is the second largest city in the county and is located just south of Tacoma. The population of Lakewood was 58,163 at the 2010 census.
The city was incorporated in 1996 and is home to many parks, trails, and recreational areas. Lakewood has a variety of housing options ranging from single-family homes to apartments and condominiums. The city also has a vibrant business district with many restaurants, shops, and services.
