Graham, Washington Description
Graham, Washington is a small city located in Pierce County, about 30 miles south of Seattle. It has a population of approximately 8,500 people and is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. The city is situated in a rural area surrounded by forests and farmland, with the Cascade Mountains to the east and Puget Sound to the west.
The city was founded in 1883 by William Graham, who named it after himself. It was originally a farming community but has since grown into a thriving suburban area. The downtown area features several historic buildings, including the Graham Historical Museum and the Graham Fire Hall. There are also several parks and recreational areas in town, including Lake Kapowsin Park and Graham Community Park.
