Virginia Beach is a coastal city located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. It is the most populous city in the state with an estimated population of 450,000 people. The city is situated on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and is part of the Hampton Roads metropolitan area.
Virginia Beach is known for its miles of beaches, which are popular for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and other recreational activities. The boardwalk along the beachfront offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. Other attractions include the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, First Landing State Park, and Motor World Virginia Beach.
