Norfolk, Virginia is a vibrant coastal city located in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia. It is the second-largest city in the state and home to a population of over 250,000 people. Norfolk is known for its rich history, diverse culture, and beautiful waterfront views.
The city was founded in 1682 as a port town and has since grown into an important economic center for the region. Norfolk is home to several major military installations, including Naval Station Norfolk, which is the world’s largest naval base. The city also serves as a major hub for transportation, with Amtrak and Greyhound bus services connecting it to other cities throughout the country.
