Henrico, VA, USA is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is part of the Greater Richmond Region and is bordered by the James River to the south and west, Goochland County to the north, Hanover County to the northeast, and Richmond City to the east. Henrico County has a population of over 330,000 people and covers an area of approximately 250 square miles.

The county seat is located in Highland Springs, which is also home to many government offices. The county has a rich history that dates back to 1611 when it was first established as one of eight original shires in Virginia. It was named after Henry Frederick Stuart, who was the son of King Charles I of England.
