Sandy, UT is a city located in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah. It is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area and is located about 15 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City. Sandy has a population of approximately 95,000 people and is known for its outdoor recreation opportunities, shopping centers, and family-friendly atmosphere.
The city was founded in 1853 by Mormon pioneers who were looking for a place to settle down and build their homes. Since then, Sandy has grown into a thriving community with many amenities and attractions.
