American Fork, Utah Description
American Fork, UT is a city located in the northern part of Utah County, about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City. It is part of the Provo-Orem metropolitan area and has a population of around 33,000 people. The city was founded in 1850 by Mormon pioneers and was named after the American Fork River which runs through it.
American Fork is known for its outdoor recreation opportunities, including hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and boating.
