American Fork, Utah Description
American Fork, UT is a city located in the northern part of Utah County, about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City. It is part of the Provo-Orem metropolitan area and has a population of around 33,000 people. The city was founded in 1850 by Mormon pioneers and was named after the American Fork River which runs through it.
