Southlake, Texas Description
Southlake, TX is a city located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Tarrant County, Texas. It is an affluent suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth and is one of the most affluent cities in the United States. Southlake has a population of around 30,000 people and is known for its excellent schools, low crime rate, and high quality of life.
The city was founded in 1956 and has since grown to become one of the most desirable places to live in the Metroplex. Southlake offers a variety of housing options ranging from single family homes to luxury estates. The city also boasts numerous parks, trails, golf courses, shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Southlake is home to several corporate headquarters including Fidelity Investments, Sabre Holdings Corporation, and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. The city also hosts many annual events such as the Southlake Town Square Summer Concert Series and the Southlake Arts Festival.
Southlake is served by two school districts: Carroll Independent School District (CISD) and Keller Independent School District (KISD). CISD serves most of Southlake while KISD serves parts of Westlake and Trophy Club. Both districts are highly rated with excellent academic programs and extracurricular activities for students.
