Rowlett, TX is a city located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Dallas County, Texas. It is situated on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard and is part of the Greater Dallas area. The city has a population of around 60,000 people and covers an area of approximately 27 square miles.
Rowlett is known for its beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. The city has several parks, including Bayside Park which offers fishing, boating, swimming, and other recreational activities. There are also several golf courses in the area as well as trails for biking and hiking. Rowlett also has a number of shopping centers and restaurants to explore.
The city is home to many businesses and industries including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, technology, finance, education, and more. Rowlett also has a vibrant arts scene with galleries, theaters, music venues, and festivals throughout the year.
Rowlett is served by two school districts: Garland Independent School District (GISD) and Rockwall Independent School District (RISD). GISD serves most of Rowlett while RISD serves parts of Rowlett that are closer to Rockwall. Both districts offer excellent educational opportunities for students from kindergarten through high school graduation.
