Rosenberg, Texas is a city located in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. The population was 30,618 at the 2010 census, up from 24,043 at the 2000 census. As of 2019, the estimated population was 37,743.

Rosenberg is located in southeastern Fort Bend County at 29°32′N 95°48′W (29.5355,-95.7986). It is bordered to the north by Richmond and to the south by Needville. U.S. Route 59 (Southwest Freeway) passes through the center of Rosenberg, leading north 25 miles (40 km) to downtown Houston and south 28 miles (45 km) to Victoria.

Rosenberg has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. Average temperatures range from lows in the 40s during winter months to highs in the 90s during summer months. Average annual precipitation is about 45 inches (1,140 mm).

Rosenberg has a vibrant economy with many businesses and industries located within its city limits including oil and gas production companies, manufacturing plants, retail stores and restaurants as well as medical facilities and educational institutions such as Wharton County Junior College and University of Houston-Victoria campus located nearby in Sugar Land. Rosenberg also has several parks for outdoor recreation including Seabourne Creek Nature Park which offers hiking trails and bird watching opportunities as well as a disc golf course.
