Lewisville, TX is a city located in Denton County, Texas, United States. It is a suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth and part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The population was 95,290 at the 2010 census, making it one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
Lewisville is situated on Lake Lewisville, which is a large reservoir on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The lake provides numerous recreational activities such as fishing, boating, swimming, and camping. There are also several parks located around the lake that offer hiking trails and picnic areas.
The city has a vibrant downtown area with many restaurants and shops. There are also several museums and art galleries in Lewisville that showcase local artwork and history. The city also hosts several festivals throughout the year including an annual Fourth of July celebration and a Christmas parade.
