Helotes, Texas Description
Helotes, TX is a small city located in the northwest corner of Bexar County, Texas. It is situated about 20 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio and is part of the San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan area. The population was 7,341 at the 2010 census.
Helotes is known for its rural atmosphere and small-town charm. The city has a historic downtown area with several shops and restaurants, as well as a number of parks and recreational areas. Helotes Creek runs through the center of town, providing a scenic backdrop to the city's many attractions.
