Fort Worth, Texas is a vibrant city located in the north-central part of the state. It is the fifth-largest city in Texas and the 13th-largest city in the United States. Fort Worth is known for its rich western heritage and culture, as well as its modern attractions.

The city has a population of over 874,000 people and covers an area of 339 square miles. It is home to several universities, including Texas Christian University, University of North Texas Health Science Center, and Texas Wesleyan University.

Fort Worth is home to many attractions, including the Fort Worth Zoo, which houses over 7,000 animals from around the world; the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District; and Sundance Square, a 35-block entertainment district with restaurants, shops, galleries, theaters, and more. The city also hosts several annual events such as the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and Mayfest Arts Festival.

The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. Average temperatures range from lows of 33°F in January to highs of 95°F in July. The area receives an average of 34 inches of rain per year.

Fort Worth is served by Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), which offers flights to destinations around the world. The city also has an extensive public transportation system that includes buses and light rail lines operated by Trinity Metro Transit Authority.
