Bridge City, Texas Description
Bridge City is a small city located in Orange County, Texas. It is situated on the banks of the Neches River, just east of Beaumont and Port Arthur. The city has a population of around 8,000 people and covers an area of approximately 5.5 square miles.
The city was founded in the early 1900s as a bridge-building center for the Gulf Coast region. The city was named after its first bridge, which was built over the Neches River in 1912. Since then, Bridge City has grown to become a thriving community with a variety of businesses and services.
