Brenham, Texas is a small city located in the heart of Washington County, about 70 miles northwest of Houston. It is the county seat and home to over 16,000 people. The city was founded in 1844 and named after Richard Fox Brenham, a former Republic of Texas official.
Brenham is known for its historic downtown area, which features many 19th-century buildings and homes. The city also has several parks and recreational areas, including the Washington County Fairgrounds and the Brenham Heritage Museum.
