Bay City, Texas Description
Bay City is a small city located in Matagorda County, Texas, United States. It is situated on the banks of the Colorado River and is approximately 90 miles southwest of Houston. The population was 17,614 at the 2010 census.
Bay City is known for its rich history and culture, as well as its natural beauty. The city has a variety of attractions including museums, parks, and historic sites. The Matagorda County Museum offers visitors a glimpse into the area’s past with exhibits on local history and culture. The Bay City Municipal Park features a playground, picnic areas, and walking trails.
