Aledo, Texas Description
Aledo is a small city located in Parker County, Texas, United States. It is situated about 20 miles west of Fort Worth and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area. The population was 2,716 at the 2010 census.
Aledo is known for its rural atmosphere and small-town charm. The city has a historic downtown area with several antique stores, restaurants, and other businesses. There are also several parks in the area, including Bearcat Stadium, which hosts football games for Aledo High School. The city also has a public library and a community center that offers various activities for residents.
The climate in Aledo is generally mild with hot summers and cool winters. Average temperatures range from the mid-30s to mid-90s throughout the year. Rainfall averages around 36 inches per year with most of it occurring during the spring months.
