Smithville, Tennessee is a small town located in the heart of DeKalb County. It is situated in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee and is home to a population of approximately 4,500 people. The town was founded in 1817 and has a rich history that includes being the birthplace of the world-famous singer/songwriter Johnny Cash.
