Portland, Tennessee is a small city located in Sumner County, about 40 miles northeast of Nashville. It is situated along the Cumberland River and is known for its historic downtown area and its many outdoor activities.
The city has a population of around 12,000 people and is home to several parks, including Portland City Park, which features a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and a fishing pond. The city also has several golf courses and a public swimming pool.
