Mount Juliet, TN is a city located in Wilson County, Tennessee. It is part of the Nashville metropolitan area and is situated approximately 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. The city has a population of approximately 28,000 people and covers an area of about 15 square miles.
Mount Juliet is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere. The city has a variety of attractions including the historic Mount Juliet Mansion, which was built in 1827 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other attractions include the Charlie Daniels Park, which features a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and a lake; the Providence Marketplace shopping center; and the Mount Juliet Farmers Market.
The city also offers plenty of outdoor activities such as fishing at Old Hickory Lake or canoeing down the nearby Harpeth River. There are also several golf courses in the area including Hermitage Golf Course and Windtree Golf Club.
Mount Juliet is served by two school districts: Wilson County Schools and Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. The city also has several higher education institutions such as Cumberland University, Middle Tennessee State University, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center all within close proximity to Mount Juliet.
The city has several parks including Charlie Daniels Park, which features a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and a lake; Bledsoe Creek State Park; Cedar Creek Park; and Long Hunter State Park.
