Lower Merion is a township located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is one of the oldest and most affluent suburbs of Philadelphia. Lower Merion is home to many historic sites, including the Lower Merion Academy, the first nonsectarian school in the United States. The township also contains several parks and recreational areas, including Valley Forge National Historical Park and the John B. Kelly Jr. Memorial Park.

Lower Merion has a population of 57,825 people as of 2019 and covers an area of 23 square miles. The township is divided into two distinct sections: the Main Line and Ardmore. The Main Line is a collection of affluent neighborhoods that are home to some of the most expensive real estate in the country. Ardmore is a more diverse area with a mix of residential and commercial properties.

Lower Merion has excellent public schools, with many students attending either Harriton High School or Lower Merion High School. The township also has several private schools, such as Baldwin School and Episcopal Academy. There are numerous shopping centers throughout Lower Merion, including Suburban Square in Ardmore and Wynnewood Shopping Center on the Main Line.

Lower Merion offers plenty of entertainment options for residents and visitors alike.
