Levittown, PA, USA is a suburban community located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is situated approximately 25 miles northeast of Philadelphia and is part of the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1952 by William Levitt and his sons, Alfred and William Jr., who developed the area as a planned community.
Levittown is known for its iconic ranch-style homes that were built in the 1950s and 1960s. These homes are characterized by their single-story design, low-pitched roofs, and large windows. The town also features a variety of other housing styles including split-level homes, townhouses, and condominiums.
The town has a population of approximately 52,000 people and covers an area of about 10 square miles. It is home to several parks including Core Creek Park which offers swimming pools, playgrounds, picnic areas, walking trails, and more. There are also several shopping centers located throughout the town including Oxford Valley Mall which features over 150 stores and restaurants.
