Lehigh, Pennsylvania is a small town located in the Lehigh Valley region of the state. It is situated in Northampton County and is part of the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metropolitan area. The town has a population of approximately 3,000 people and covers an area of 1.2 square miles.

The town was founded in 1762 by William Allen, who named it after his ancestral home in England. It was incorporated as a borough in 1867 and has since grown to become a vibrant community with many amenities for its residents.

Lehigh is home to several parks and recreational areas, including the Lehigh River Trail, which runs along the river for over 10 miles. The trail offers scenic views of the river and surrounding countryside, as well as opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. The town also has several public parks with playgrounds, picnic areas, and sports fields.

The downtown area of Lehigh features a variety of shops and restaurants that cater to both locals and visitors alike. Lehigh is served by two school districts: East Penn School District and Whitehall-Coplay School District. Both districts offer excellent educational opportunities for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition to these schools, there are also several private schools located within the town’s boundaries that provide additional educational options for families living in Lehigh.
