Kidder, Pennsylvania is a small borough located in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the Lehigh Valley region of the state and is part of the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metropolitan area. The population of Kidder was 1,717 at the 2010 census.

The town was founded in 1845 by John Kidder, a local landowner who wanted to create a community for his family and friends. The town was originally known as Kidder's Settlement and was incorporated as a borough in 1876.
