Coolbaugh Township is a township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in the Pocono Mountains region of the state and is part of the East Stroudsburg Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 8,917 at the 2010 census.

Coolbaugh Township was established in 1845 from parts of Tobyhanna and Paradise Townships. It was named after William Coolbaugh, an early settler who owned a large tract of land in the area.

The township is home to several popular tourist attractions, including Mount Pocono, Camelback Ski Resort, and Big Pocono State Park. The area also offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, camping, and skiing.

Coolbaugh Township has a humid continental climate with cold winters and warm summers. Average temperatures range from 25°F (-4°C) in January to 73°F (23°C) in July. Average annual precipitation is 43 inches (109 cm).

The township is served by two school districts: Pocono Mountain School District and East Stroudsburg Area School District. There are also several private schools located within the township's boundaries.
