Bristol, Pennsylvania is a small borough located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is situated along the Delaware River and is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The population of Bristol was 9,726 at the 2010 census.

Bristol is known for its historical significance as it was founded in 1681 by Samuel Clift and William Penn. It was originally named Buckingham after Clift's hometown in England. The name was changed to Bristol in 1702 when it became a port city on the Delaware River.

The town has a rich history and many historic sites including the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, which connects Philadelphia to Camden, New Jersey; the Grundy Museum; and the Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation. There are also several parks and recreational areas such as Mill Creek Park, Silver Lake Park, and Grundy Commons Park.

Bristol has a vibrant downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and businesses that cater to both locals and visitors alike. There are also several art galleries, museums, theaters, and other cultural attractions that make Bristol an interesting place to visit or live in.

The town is served by SEPTA Regional Rail lines which provide easy access to Philadelphia and other nearby cities such as Trenton and Wilmington. The town also has its own airport (the Northeast Philadelphia Airport) which provides flights to various destinations throughout the United States.
