Roseburg, Oregon Description
Roseburg, Oregon is a small city located in the Umpqua Valley of southwestern Oregon. It is situated on the banks of the North Umpqua River, and is surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. Roseburg has a population of approximately 22,000 people and is the county seat of Douglas County.
The city was founded in 1851 by pioneers who were drawn to the area for its abundance of natural resources. The city has grown steadily since then, and today it is home to a variety of businesses, including timber, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and retail.
