Canby, Oregon is a small city located in Clackamas County, about 20 miles south of Portland. It is situated on the banks of the Willamette River and is home to a population of around 17,000 people.
Canby has a rich history that dates back to the mid-1800s when it was founded by settlers from the Oregon Trail. The city was named after Edward Richard Canby, who was an American Civil War general and later served as Superintendent of Indian Affairs for the Pacific Northwest.
