Brookings, Oregon is a small coastal city located in Curry County on the southern Oregon Coast. It is situated on the Pacific Ocean, just north of the California border. The city has a population of 6,336 people and covers an area of 8.2 square miles.

The city was founded in 1951 and is known for its mild climate and beautiful scenery. Brookings is home to several parks, including Azalea Park, Harris Beach State Park, and Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor. The city also boasts a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, surfing, and hiking.
