Moore, Oklahoma is a city located in the central part of the state, just south of Oklahoma City. It is part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and has a population of approximately 60,000 people. Moore is known for its strong sense of community and family-friendly atmosphere.

The city was founded in 1889 and was named after Al Moore, who owned the land that became Moore. The city has grown steadily over the years and now boasts a variety of businesses, restaurants, parks, schools, and other amenities.

Moore is home to several large employers such as Tinker Air Force Base, AT&T Mobility, and Walmart. The city also has a vibrant downtown area with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. There are also several parks throughout the city including Buck Thomas Park which features a lake with fishing opportunities as well as walking trails.

Moore is served by two school districts: Moore Public Schools and Southmoore High School. Both districts offer excellent educational opportunities for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition to public schools, there are also several private schools in the area including Heritage Hall School and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
