Ardmore, Oklahoma is a city located in the southern part of the state, about 90 miles south of Oklahoma City. It is the county seat of Carter County and has a population of around 25,000 people. The city was founded in 1887 and named after Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

The city is known for its rich history and culture. It is home to many historical sites such as the Ardmore Historic District, which includes several buildings from the late 19th century. The city also has a vibrant arts scene with several galleries and museums.
