Queensbury, NY is a town located in the Adirondack region of New York State. It is situated in Warren County, just north of the city of Glens Falls. The town has a population of approximately 15,000 people and covers an area of about 40 square miles.
The town was founded in 1762 and was originally known as Queensbury Patent. It was named after Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III. The town has a rich history and is home to many historic sites including the Queensbury Hotel, which dates back to 1877.
