Mamaroneck is a small village located in Westchester County, New York. It is situated on the Long Island Sound and is part of the town of Mamaroneck. The village has a population of approximately 19,000 people and covers an area of 4.4 square miles.

The village was first settled by Dutch settlers in 1661 and was incorporated as a village in 1895. It has since grown to become one of the most affluent communities in Westchester County. The village is home to many large businesses, including PepsiCo, MasterCard, and IBM.

Mamaroneck is known for its beautiful beaches and waterfront parks along the Long Island Sound. Mamaroneck is served by two school districts: Mamaroneck Union Free School District (K-12) and Rye Neck Union Free School District (K-8). Both districts offer excellent educational opportunities for students from pre-kindergarten through high school graduation.
